I was just about to go to bed and decided to check email one last time. M wrote and said I should go look at Jupiter. I ran right outside the hotel and stared. The idea hit. I ran inside, called the Kid. I said to go outside and over the phone helped orient tK to best see Jupiter. “Wow! amazing! Thanks dad!” Hundreds of miles apart and we were sharing the same vision. My day was made.

Remember when you were a kid and would get pissed off every time the musical guest came on SNL because some bore-of-the-week was taking time away from hilarious and on point sketch comedy?
These days the musical guests are the only reason to watch SNL.

∞Argyle (an old friend’s nickname for a new friend) is in Las Vegas for the Matador 21 party. Work shuttled me to AR instead. I do hope A comes back relating some fucking amazing tales from the shows, the town (it is A’s first LV trip, after all), her travels and her brother, who will also be there.
